Would it be rude to rest my feet on my desk?

I am so exhausted today! I am working today too, which doesn't help matters any. We had a busy weekend, a birthday party, my niece's first communion, and a church rededication service at my in-law's church. And to top it off, E got a terrible cold (let's hope its that and not the swine flu) on Saturday and has been sort of bumming around, and then I got it on Sunday too and was good for nothing, actually, still feel pretty good for nothing.

Good news is Adler is all adjusted to sleeping in his big bed and has been doing great the past few nights. It was not NEARLY as painful as I thought it would be. That's typically the way things are with us. I hem and haw, overreact and put-off change; and then when we finally do it, he's all like whatever, mom.

I had an end of the year parent-teacher conference with Adler's preschool teacher this morning. He got all good marks, except I was informed that he is a pusher!!! I have rarely seen him act in aggression; but of course, he is never really around a lot of kids when he is with me. The teacher says he doesn't do it anymore than any of the other kids and that he responds to discipline that follows, but still, MY sweet, gentle baby is pushing. Maybe he needs therapy or anger management or conflict resolution classes. Or maybe I need to breathe, take a step back, and realize that my sweet gently baby is not a sweet gentle baby anymore, but a TODDLER!! GASP!

Little kids are so funny. Can you imagine just going up to someone and pushing them? Hilarious!

There is a cure for Adler's pushing: beat that ass.

oh, yeah, right... ha!

I did go to work and push Bevely, tho... she just looked at me like I'd lost my everlovin' mind... and then, because Debbie and I were laughing so hard, she pushed me back... lol...
