The epitome of funny

So, I guess eventually I will get over the fact that everything my son does these days is cute(or I doubt I will get over it, but maybe I won't continue telling everyone about the things he does, because we all know how annoying that can be), but until I get to that point, let me share.

Lately, I have been giving Adler a "5 minute warning" when he has to stop doing something or if we have to leave somewhere because he has been having some transition issues. So, last night, he was busy playing with a new toy that Nana gave him yesterday (which he loves, thanks Nana!) and it was past bedtime. I had already given him the warning, and so I told him we had to go to bed. He looked up at me and said, "5 more minutes please." That story is so not as cute in black and white as it was in person. But I have already made a whole blog post about it so there it is.

And he has developed quite a sense of humor. For those of you who are around Ad for more than 5 minutes, you know that he is obsessed with eating. He is not a big eater himself, but he sure LOVES to talk about it. Its the first thing he says when he wakes up, when he sees new people, when you talk to him about things he is going to do; it literally is the topic of discussion every 30 minutes or so. So the FUNNIEST thing in the world for him to talk about is eating inanimate objects. He will bust a gut if you tell him you are going to dip his toes in ketchup and eat them. And he will have a 10 minute giggle fit after he tells you he is going to eat his stuffed bear for lunch.

McKaylin was a two more minutes and Everitt was a one more minute child. I guess you don't think how often you say it until they use it on you. At least he says please! Too cute! I would love to hear those little giggles!

I never, ever, ever get tired of hearing about the cute things he does... or the cute things you do... lol...

p.s. "5 more minutes, please" is exactly what I say every morning when my alarm clock goes off... and again every time I hit the snooze...
