I'm not lion

I went with my sister in law, niece and her friend to see The Lion King in Memphis this past weekend. It was amazing. I have never been to anything like it. Not only were the vocals and acting out of this world, the costumes and dance were phenomenal. I can't really explain how they did it exactly, but the actor's animal costumes were part of them, like an antelope would have two human legs and two costume legs and would leap into the air, making it look both human and animal alike. Bad description, but it was really cool. I think they come through Memphis every year touring and I highly recommend checking it out, even if you don't bring kids. I think I may bring Eric next year.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! I got to enjoy a few minutes with Adler Sunday after church at McDonalds! He was reaching and grabbing for everything on the table. I kept trying to give him my hand but he wanted nothing to do with that. He wanted my entire tray! He's gotten so big! Just wanted to eat those fat legs up!

Sounds wonderful... I'll have to watch for it if it comes to Atlanta and take my wonderful husband... :)

Reminds me of how amazed I was when I saw Yul Brynner in New Orleans at the Sanger Theater in "The King and I"... I was absolutely blown away... went two nights in a row... on Friday night with James, and we sat in the balcony... and on Saturday night with Bill, and we sat front and center about two rows from the stage... I had tears streaming down my face most of the night both nights just from the sheer joy of it... and stood on my seat to cheer when they all came out at the end to bow and raise their hands into the air...
